She tilted her head slightly at his words, slowing her steps so he could catch up easily. "I don't have time for that to be honest...I used to, I guess when I was younger, especially when I had been hurt." She paused in her reply a moment, to gather her thoughts. "I guess, it came to a point where I realized that I might not be able to choose the people who hurt me, but closing myself off all the time was something I could do something about. In the end closing myself away only hurt me more. And it helps that I pursued photography, I have to look at the world a little differently to capture the moments everyone else overlooks....and now I'm rambling. I'm sorry." Rachel blushed a bit, letting out a soft laugh.
